Storsjöcupen is played according to FIFA's rules in applicable parts and the Swedish Football Association's competition and representation regulations.
-
The teams are expected to interpret and follow the competition rules in the interests of common sense and Fair Games. In case of any doubts/ambiguities, the competition management will interpret and decide from this perspective.
-
Participating teams must belong to an association or academy registered with their country's FIFA-affiliated football association. In countries where school football is a competitive form, school teams affiliated with their country's school sports association are also allowed. All players must belong to the association they are competing for according to the rules of their national association.
-
It is not permitted to borrow players from another club solely for the Storsjöcup, unless the clubs' district (circle) has approved this in a special decision, which must be presented. Such combined teams are only approved
-
when teams have already previously applied for, and been approved by their district association/circuit before the start of the season
-
when the application for Combined Team has been received by Storsjöcupen - VIA YOUR TEAM PAGE - no later than May 1. Decision/approval will be made within a week. The application is sent as a message on your team page (www.storsjocupen.se) with the reason for the application stated.

-
All players must wear a participant armband to play in the match. If such a mistake is discovered, this must be pointed out to the referee. Unauthorized players will result in loss of the match.
-
Team relationships are no longer allowed.
-
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the game program in terms of group divisions, times and game plans.
-
The teams are divided into groups, where everyone plays against each other in a single series. The order of the teams is decided by points. A win gives 3 points, a draw 1 point, a loss 0 points.
If two or more teams have the same points total, the order of play will be determined as follows:
Goal difference
Highest number of goals scored
Results in head-to-head matches between teams that are tied
Regarding places 2-5, results against the group winner
Lottery
Playoffs
The top two teams in each group advance to the A playoffs, while teams finishing 3rd and 4th in each group advance to the B playoffs.
Teams that place worse than 4th are eliminated from further play.

Minor sending-off (2 yellow cards) & goal-scoring sending-off = 1 match suspension in the same competition class.
