Fair Games
For us at Storsjöcupen, Fair Games and its meaning have always been of great importance. It is a work that is reflected in our three member associations. But the importance of Fair Games is an ongoing work that must never be silent. Therefore, we have taken a serious look at what the concept means to us.
We adults have a responsibility, regardless of whether we are spectators or supporters, leaders or coaches, parents or organizers. Our playing children and young people should feel joy, community and security. We should give them the conditions to play sports on their own terms.
Since 2024, we have made some changes to make this even clearer for you as visitors. You as leaders will be asked to sign an agreement confirming what is obvious to us. Those of you who live at our schools will receive the document on site, while the rest of you will receive it via your own associations for endorsement.
Some of the changes we have made are that the stewards are senior people. These are specially selected and trained to best provide you as guests with the best conditions for great matches. We are also giving our referees clearer information about what applies and what powers they have.
Finally, I would like to remind you leaders that Fair Games also applies off the field. I and other staff from the cup will do everything we can to ensure that you experience us with joy and football in focus.
Warm welcome!
Mathias Rasteby
Chairman of the Storsjöcupen Association
